It's fascinating how two people can experience the exact same thing but walk away with completely different interpretations. We're all shaped by our past experiences, constantly building this internal algorithm that influences how we react to situations. Lately, I’ve been reflecting on how I’ve handled certain personal and professional situations versus how others have, and the differences are striking.
Are any of us really wrong? Maybe, from each other's perspectives, we are. But who gets to decide what’s right and what’s wrong? Or maybe there’s no need to define it at all. Personally, I see everything in life as an experience—something to move through, process, and learn from. Yet, I’ve seen people get stuck in regret, beating themselves up over the past or the decisions they made. Sure, I’ve made plenty of bad decisions, and those have shaped my life. In the future, they probably will too. But so what? Who’s to say whether I’m on the right path or just a string of bad decisions leading to the wrong one?
